Parent and Student Guide

Monthly Tuition

Parents and adult students are responsible for providing and maintaining debit/credit cards to ensure monthly tuition auto-debit payments are successful. Three attempts will be automatically made if a card fails. If on the 3rd attempt the card fails, auto-debit tuition will be canceled and parents or adult students will need to re-register with a new card.

Parents and adult students are responsible for canceling enrollment and auto-debit tuition. If a student leaves and auto-debit tuition and enrollment is not canceled and the card on file continues to be charged, there will be no refund provided for any amount. Parents and adult students can cancel by emailing hello@inspyrarts.com, calling (562) 786-9075, or by logging in to your account and canceling at the following link:

Parent Behavior

Parents are welcome to drop off or stay at the studio while their child is attending class. However, parents are not permitted to enter the classroom space and sit with their child and/or interact with their child during class. Parents are not permitted to guide their child on how to make art or how to use the supplies or how to use the studio. Parents who do this will be asked to leave. The only exception is for students with learning disabilities or special needs and who require a parent or aide’s guidance.

Student Behavior

Inspyr Arts is a zero-tolerance space for students with behavioral issues. As a private art studio, unlike public or private schools, we do not employ strategies (nor do we have the resources or training) to help students improve behavioral issues. A student will be required to leave immediately (at the instructor’s discretion) if they repeatedly express a negative attitude or engage in any form of disruptive behavior. We do not under any circumstances tolerate students who engage in the following:

  • Making threats to other students or instructors

  • Making insulting comments towards other students or instructors, or towards the work of other students or instructors

  • Repeatedly ignoring directions or requests to behave and be respectful

  • Intentionally damaging student or instructor artwork

  • Actively disrespecting instructors or ignoring instructors’ requests

  • Expressing a general and ongoing negative attitude

Students engaging in any of the above behavior, or behavior not listed but deemed inappropriate by instructors, will be required to leave (parents will be required to pick their child up immediately) and enrollment will be canceled without a refund.

At Inspyr Arts we strive to provide a safe, fun, and positive space for our students.
